We cover all fields from general transport, agriculture, mining, waste, heavy haulage, tippers, tankers and many specialised industries including road stabilisation, explosives, silo's and other stationary scales. We also sell and hire transportable weighbridges and customised loadcell modules.
We carry an extensive line of spare parts and run our own workshops giving us the unique position of offering a complete installation and repair service.

Heavy Haulage
Elphinstone's on-vehicle weighing systems allow you to operate your heavy haulage equipment within the vehicle's design limits thereby prolonging equipment life, reducing on-going service and maintenance costs. Lets your driver see his loaded weights from the safety of the prime mover. Systems available to suit all brands of turntables and trailers.
Pressurised Tankers
Utilising their ingenuity and experience, Elphinstone has been able to engineer and fit on-board weighing systems to suit almost every vehicle in Australia. Our loadcells are accurate to +/-1% and there are systems to measure many types of rigid tankers, trailers, and silos.
Tippers
There is an Elphinstone on-vehicle weighing system that utilises load cells front and rear to suit most rigid tipper and dog trailer combinations. Kits include trunnions and adaptors to suit your hoist and rear pivot mounts. When properly calibrated, accuracy is guaranteed ±1%. Simple installation during manufacture by your body builder or retro fit to existing units for peace of mind and make overloading a thing of the past. All our systems have easy troubleshooting through the self diagnostic feature and is backed by our after sales service.
Agricultural
Elphinstone have been developing weighing systems for over 35 years. Our on-board weighing systems allow you to operate your agricultural equipment within the vehicle's design thereby prolonging equipment life, reducing on-going service and maintenance costs. A cab mounted display unit allows the driver to monitor the weight constantly.

Logging Systems
The logging Industry was the first application of on-vehicle weighing for Elphinstone in 1976. As testimony to the reliability of the systems, these days every Elphinstone logging trailer and most other trailers manufactured have Elphinstone on-vehicle weighing systems installed as standard.

Special Applications
Elphinstone's wide range and extensive design experience mean that we can create solutions for specialised weighing requirements. The rugged designs using the same loadcells that we use on trucks allows us to satisfy some needs that can not be met by the general weighing industry. Elphinstone's weighing systems assist many industries in carrying maximum legal loads and are not for Trade use.
