Tippers
There is an Elphinstone on-vehicle weighing system that utilises load cells front and rear to suit most rigid tipper and dog trailer combinations. Kits include trunnions and adaptors to suit your hoist and rear pivot mounts. When properly calibrated, accuracy is guaranteed ±1%. Simple installation during manufacture by your body builder or retro fit to existing units for peace of mind and make overloading a thing of the past. All our systems have easy troubleshooting through the self diagnostic feature and is backed by our after sales service.
Semi Tipper
By fitting the weighing systems to the hoist and the hinge of the tipper bin Elphinstone maximise the accuracy of measuring the weight of the payload. This allows for carrying the largest payload possible whilst staying inside the legal limit.
TOA (Tip Over Axle) Tipper
Elphinstone's robust loadcells can be retro fitted in the most proficient load bearing points of the trailer allowing a maximum load to be carried whilst staying within legal limits.
Rigid Tipper & Dog
By fitting the weighing systems to the lifter arm and the hinge of the tipper bin Elphinstone maximise the accuracy of measuring the weight of the payload. This allows for carrying the largest payload possible whilst staying inside the legal limit. The load is easily monitored from the cab mounted display unit.
Side Tipper
A combination of loadcells and air transducer kits accurately weigh the side tipper, overcoming the challenge of the different operation of the side tipper against its upright tipping counterparts. Utilises a similar installation process to other B-Double trailers. Easy monitoring of load from cab mounted display unit.
